Memorial Day Flag Planting with the Boys & Girls Scouts 2011, a set on Flickr.
I went with Alisha and her family to flag planting at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. This was the first time I ever went to this event. The flags were planted by the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America. I felt honor to take photos at this event. I’m really glad Alisha asked me to come along to take pictures. I’ve been going through so much stress in my life at work, home, family, personal and health problems. This was a very peaceful day of watching everyone plant flag in the graves. This is an event you don’t see in history books, which is sad because it’s one of those things that should let Americans know we care about our military. It’s events like this, gives use a sense of pride and freedom.
